Mede8er (mi đi ết tờ :|), cái tên khá lạ lẫm đối với người dùng Việt Nam, thậm chí còn ko biết phát âm như thế nào cho đúng :"> Nhưng ngay từ khi mới ra, Mede8er MED500X đã đứng đầu trong TOP 5 các đầu phát HD dùng chipset Realtek 2009, vượt qua các đối thủ tên tuổi lớn như Xtreamer, và thậm chí cả TVIX 6600 (http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21322). Và mới đây nhất là Top 5 đầu phát giá trị - Best Value (http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25207). Theo ý kiến cá nhân, em Mede8er này trên thực tế là sản phẩm cạnh tranh trực tiếp với dòng Xtreamer, còn TVIX, Dune hay Popcorn bị xếp dưới chủ yếu là xét cả tiêu chí giá thành sản phẩm. Nếu đánh giá về Firmware của các em dùng chipset realtek thì đứng đầu vẫn là TVIX, tiếp theo là Mede8er và cuối cùng là Xtreamer.
