Sau một thời gian im lặng kể từ khi ngày phát hành được công bố, nhân dịp sự kiện PAX East chuẩn bị tổ chức tại thành phố Boston sắp tới hãng Bethesda đã tung ra đoạn trailer tiếp theo dành cho The Evil Within - tựa game kinh dị được nhào nặn dưới bàn tay của Shinji Mikami, cha đẻ series Resident Evil nổi tiếng.

Và một lần nữa The Evil Within lại khẳng định nó đúng là người anh em của Resident Evil, cụ thể là phiên bản thứ tư với phong cách thiết kế, lối chơi, mang rất nhiều nét tương đồng. Diễn tả bằng lời thì rất khó, vì vậy mời các bạn cùng theo dõi đoạn gameplay dưới đây để có thể cảm nhận được điều này.

Trong The Evil Within người chơi vào vai thám tử Sebastian Castellanos, người được điều đến bệnh viện tâm thần Beacon để điều tra những sự việc kì lạ nơi đây. Khi tới hiện trường, trước mắt anh là khung cảnh hỗn độn với xác chết, máu ở khắp nơi cùng cuộn băng ghi hình một bóng người bí ẩn đã ra tay tàn sát toàn bộ lực lượng tuần tra. Trong trailer trên, chúng ta có thể thấy bóng người đó dường như chính là nhân vật mặc áo choàng trắng, liệu hắn sẽ đóng vai nhân vật phản diện chính trong game dựa vào diện mạo khá "ngầu" của mình?

Về gameplay, ngoài súng đạn thông thường người chơi còn có khả năng chế tạo và sử dụng các loại bẫy - đây là nét mà Shinji Mikami cho biết sẽ tách biệt The Evil Within với Resident Evil, tuy nhiên độ đa dạng và hiệu quả của chúng đến đâu thì hiện tại chúng ta vẫn chưa rõ.
