Như vậy sau gần 2 tháng phát hành ở phiên bản thử nghiệm beta thì một trong những phần mềm nghe nhạc yêu thích hiện nay là Foobar2000 phiên bản 1.1.8 đã chính thức được ra mắt.
Phiên bản lần này của Foobar2000 đã được sửa một số lỗi về tập tin WAV, bộ codec, cũng như cải thiện tính năng Skip silence DSP, cấu trúc thẻ MP3 (ID3v2) và đặc biệt là hỗ trợ chơi chuẩn âm thanh WebM (beta 5).
