...Nếu đã chơi qua HoMM V, hẳn bạn cũng đã biết Ubisoft và Nival đã mạnh dạn thay đổi hoàn toàn bối cảnh của series Heroes, chuyển sang một thế giới mới: Ashan cùng một cốt truyện mới, những nhân vật mới chưa hề xuất hiện bao giờ (thế giới này cũng đã được dùng cho game hành động Dark Messiah và mới đây là Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes). Heroes VI cũng sẽ diễn ra trong thế giới này, nhưng không phải tiếp nối Heroes V mà sẽ đưa người chơi ngược dòng thời gian quay về hàng thập kỉ trước những sự kiện của Heroes V, thời điểm mà những faction (hay gọi dễ hiểu là các thành trong các bản Heroes ^_^) còn chưa được hình thành. Xuyên suốt mục chơi Campaign, người chơi sẽ trải qua những chuỗi nhiệm vụ liên hoàn, theo chân những vị tướng lãnh trong quá trình hình thành những chủng tộc của game. Có thể gọi Heroes VI là HOMM: Origins cũng không sai )
Câu chuyện của Heroes VI xoay quanh sự sụp đổ của Falcon Empire (đại diện cho loài người, tương tự thành Haven, Castle… trong các bản HoMM trước) và sự trỗi dậy của Griffin Empire (đế chế thống trị Ashan trong campaign của Heroes V). Nếu trong những bản HoMM trước là cuộc chiến tranh giữa người và quỷ, giữa thiện và ác thì trong Heroes VI sẽ là sự thăng trầm của 2 đế chế, bên cạnh đó là sự phản bội của một Tổng lãnh thiên thần (Archangel), những nguyên nhân sâu xa và kết cục mà nó để lại....

Might & Magic Heroes VI will take place in 564 YSD, roughly some 400 years before Might & Magic Heroes V, at the time of the second Blood Moon Eclipse, and the Rise of Kha Beleth, the Demon Sovereign. A legendary Archangel General, killed during the war of the Elder races, is resurrected. Under the cover of preparations for the upcoming Demon invasion, he plots to recover his powers and take control of Ashan while eradicating his ancient enemies. He underestimates, however, the power of the all-too-human Griffin dynasty...
Heroes VI tells the story of the Griffin dynasty, when they were still Dukes of the Holy Empire, and not yet sitting on the Imperial throne (like in Heroes 5 and Clash of Heroes). The Griffin Duchy is east of the Empire, a region that would correspond to the Slavic nations in our own world.
At the dynastys origins, The Griffin Duke Pavel was a zealous servant of the Light and a trusted lieutenant of the Falcon Emperor. He met his demise defending his own duchy from a Demon host summoned by the dying wish of a desperate enemy. Pavel's heroic last stand would ensure the survival of his son, Slava, who was only a boy at the time of these
events.
Pavel's sister Sveltana, who had left her homeland to become a prominent Necromancer in the Seven Cities, was called back to act as regent to Slava and educate him in the ways of the Griffin.
Fifteen years and a war have past. Duke Slava of Griffin is now the father of five promising children. These are the main Heroes of the Heroes 6 campaign, and they will lead different factions to battle.

Bạn nào dùng win64 bit mà ko launch đc game, các bạn thử làm như phía dưới
1. Install the game
2. Start the game without crack, when Ubisoft launcher open -> let it update
3. Close Ubisoft Launcher
4. Go to C:\Users\(Your UserName)\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher folder and delete settings.yml
5. Copy all content from SKIDROW folder in your game folder
6. Play
